A Satyr Warrior

A Satyr Warrior's Full Regalia

This is how a Warrior Class Satyr would dress in olden days though they've little cause to clothe themselves thus now. Indeed, donning such gear would only bring unwanted attention from humans who don't know such creatures exist. Here, on the premises of the 'shire', however, this Satyr warrior is allowed to dress as he pleases as no 'outsiters' (or humans) are near to witness his proud display. In the background, you can see some of the Sorceress' Druid minions going about their daily routine, looking exactly as any human would when working on a large English estate. It should be noted that this Satyr's real horns (smaller and situated over the outside corner of each eye) are hidden beneath the front, leather portion of his helmet; the larger horns appearing outside the helmet would have been (in other less tranquil times) meant to to frighten enemies.

A Satyr warrior has roughly five times the strength of a human male. But this strength is offset by their fierce love of peace and adoration of all nature. Unlike a Goblin warrior, (recall the Tale of Tearach Bruce in the title Goblin Moon), who can bear a grudge and never forget the insult dealt by any enemy...a Satyr will only fight when it is absolutely necessary, but never so fiercely than when in defense of a loved one or those perceived as being wronged. In the upcoming Tale of the Order, Satyr, Soland Leigh will be introduced along with his four-year-old daughter. As mentioned in regards to Satyrs, Soland loves all living things and has the ability to call animals to his side when necessary. His daughter, Autumn, also has this same gift.

Satyr - a brand new Tale of the Order which has never been published before - should be out sometime in 2008.
