Tales of the Order
- about the mythical creatures in our world

This brook is quite magickal. It is between places. Just as twilight is the time between day and night; dawn is the time between night and morning, this spot divides one piece of land from another. It is a place where one element touches another. Water flows freely here over earth and rock. It touches and molds everything in its path. To the magickal folk who live near such sites, this particular area is very sacred indeed. It is wise to tread lightly near these locations as mythical beings can become agitated if these spots are greatly disturbed, or if visitors do not show enough respect for the environment.
The Sorceress of the Ancients guards her forest domain with great zeal. Only members of the mythical order of creatures (or those of the outside world who've been told of them) are allowed within this ancient, sacred woods.
The Sorceress, Shayla Gallagher, has told a number of normal, ordinary people like you and me about the denizens of this forest. And this English wooded site isn't the only safe harbor for the many hundreds of fairies, sprites, elves, gnomes, trolls, etc. that exist. But this is the most revered of all locations; it's located somewhere north of London, on a private estate.
If you look very closely, you might be able to catch a glimpse of some ethereal beings, though they try to blend into the environment near 'outsiders' (those of us who live in the normal world and don't know of their existence). Look and see if you can catch a sprite flitting about or a gnome hiding under a large fern.
To repeat...trespassers in the forest are not welcome. Only the Sorceress can give permission to wander. But there will come a time when she can no longer keep the existence of the creatures from the outside world. Technology may soon demolish all her efforts to hide the forest's mythical minions.
Outsiders will have a choice. Will they allow the denizens of the Order to exist as they always have? Or will these gentle creatures be devastated by the world?
